We are also trying the "better binder" this year. I am finding that it is hard to move the pages/dividers on the rings -- it's just the tiniest bit too tight. Boo. But time will tell...
Missed this comment somehow! You know, I only got the better binder because my actual favorite binder, Wisdom Supply Co's zero-waste binder, was out of stock all summer, but it's back now, and I might go ahead and order a few anyway - totally undermining the whole zero waste part, haha.
This was such a fun and wise read--and you're almost motivating me enough to want to start back on our (usual) August 1st. But I think (for various reasons) we're really going to hold off until late August this year.
If I were finishing a book, I'd probably push the start of our school year back a bit too! It would be fun to hear at some point, when you are ready, what sorts of things you have planned for your homeschooling this year.
